Tantra Yoga Vinyasa: Awakening the Sacred Channel
- Course ID: M1STRY
Saturday, January 18 — 8:00am - 10:00am
- Session 1
According to Tantra, the spine--and more specifically, the energy channel inside it called sushumna--is the abode of our soul's untapped potential, the source of our creative energy and spirit. All yoga practice is meant to prepare us for tapping into this sacred channel. We'll move through a sequence of asanas, pranayama, and meditation specifically designed to awaken this central channel and unlock the spiritual energy that resides within it. Some theory gets us started.
Mostly asana with a short lecture.

- Course ID: M6STRY
Sunday, January 19 — 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Yoga Nidra is the sublime science of complete relaxation. Because of its unique capacity to transform all of the "layers" that the soul inhabits, Yoga Nidra is both a comprehensive method for maximizing health and vitality as well as one of the tradition's most profound and accessible ways to positively shape our unconscious and thereby affect our destiny. We'll outline the theory of sankalpa, how we bring thought into form, the practice of Yoga Nidra, and how both relate to the concept of dharma.
