Friday, January 15 — 9:00am - 4:30pm
Friday Full-Day Workshops

The tradition of Tantric Yoga utilizes a complex system of teachings and practices organized around the symbolism of the chakras. Each of these chakras contains and reveals both our dysfunctional patterns as well as our optimal potential. Chakra sadhana can be understood as an ancient form of depth psychology, which offers a map and a path through which we transform and actualize. Come explore, though lecture and practice, the psycho-energetics of transformation.

The Yoga Tradition of Meditation: Mastering the Mind
Gary Kraftsow - Course ID: M3KRAF

Saturday, January 16 — 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Weekend Classes
Contemplative Path / Mixed Levels

Modern scientific and medical research is demonstrating the incredible health benefits of meditation for the brain and physiology. Beyond these physical benefits, meditation helps us surface our unconscious patterns and gain control over our desires, feelings, thoughts, and behavior. Through meditation, we deepen our self-understanding and gain mastery over our minds. With that as a foundation, we can access the higher states of awareness that lead to deep wisdom and compassion, and enable us to tap into and actualize our highest potential.

Lecture and meditation. No asana.

Yoga's Open Secret: The Art and Science of Pranayama
Gary Kraftsow - Course ID: M5KRAF

Sunday, January 17 — 11:00am - 1:00pm
Weekend Classes
Mixed Levels

Of all the practices passed on through the living tradition of yoga, perhaps the most powerful and yet least understood is the art and science of pranayama. Through this practice, we gain insight and control over our autonomic nervous systems and, through that control, we develop an ability to influence and optimize our physiology. Control of the breath opens the door to control of our minds, including both our cognition and our emotions.
