Before You Register
Before you register, you will need to know which specific classes you would like to take during all sessions of the conference. You must pre-register for all classes. When registering online, please be sure to check the box next to each class you would like to be registered for.
Please read through the Schedule at a Glance page, or download a printable brochure. If you are interested in studying with specific teachers,
please visit the teacher pages to see which classes they are offering.
Be sure to review your selected classes before you complete your registration as well as when you receive your confirmation email.
All correspondence regarding your participation in the conference will be sent to you via the email address you use when you register.
How to Register
Once you know which classes you would like to attend, there are four ways to register:

Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment in full must accompany registration.

On-site Badge Pickup & Registration Hours
Course ID codes appear with each course description. When registering by fax or mail, you must indicate a first, second, and third choice for each session. We will make every effort to place you in your first choice. For ease and convenience, we recommend online registration where you can see up-to-the-minute availability. A confirmation email will be sent to you once your registration is processed.
There is a $10 fee each time class changes are made after your initial registration.
The fee is $10 per time you change, not per class. You can request class changes by phone or by email (please have the codes of what you would like to change into ready). Please note, once you are registered you will not be able to alter your registration online.
Refunds and Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing to Horizon Conferences 1107 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO 80302 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your cancellation; keep this confirmation of your cancellation.
Cancellations received on or before June 22, 2012 will be issued a refund, minus a $100 processing fee. All requests for refunds must acknowledge an understanding of the $100 processing fee.
Cancellations received after June 22, 2012 will not receive a refund but may be under consideration for a voucher toward a future Yoga Journal Conference, valid for one year, minus a $100 processing fee.
Last-minute cancellations must be received via email before your first scheduled class in order to be considered for a voucher. All voucher consideration will be completed after the conference, and all supporting documentation for voucher requests must be received by July 23, 2012. No refund or voucher will be given for no-shows.
Waiver of Liability
Registrants of this conference and all Yoga Journal events must understand that there are serious risks associated with all physical activity and that, when practicing yoga, one may suffer minor or serious injury. Registrants must understand these inherent risks and assume that for all such risks associated with participation in any activities in conjunction with the Yoga Journal conference, all employees, Active Interest Media, volunteers, instructors, assistants and agents are exempted from liability.
By attending the 2012 Yoga Journal Conference: San Diego, July 12-16, 2012, you agree to the following: As a participant, I understand that my image may be used in association with additional editorial and promotional materials. In consideration of my appearance, and without my further consideration, I hereby grant permission to utilize my image in connection with said promotional and editorial materials in any and all manner and media through the world in perpetuity. I agree that my participation in the event may be edited at the discretion of Yoga Journal. I expressly release Yoga Journal, Active Interest Media, Inc., its agents and employees, licensees, and assigns from and against any claims that I have or may have for invasion of privacy, defamation, or any other cause of action arising out of production, distribution, broadcast, or exhibition of this event. I agree that all resulting intellectual property is the sole property of Yoga Journal.
