Alanna Kaivalya was named as one of the teachers featured in Yoga Journal's March 2008 article "Top 21 Yoga Teachers Under 40."Her first book, Myths of the Asanas, has garnered accolades for being a guide for people to learn more about the mythology and philosophy of yoga in a fun and accessible way. Alanna's podcasts have been enjoyed by over a million yogis worldwide. She founded the Kaivalya Yoga Method and has written and directed teacher trainings around the world since 2004, and has taught at Yoga Journal Conferences and other industry events. Also a musician, Alanna has produced two albums and performs concerts and kirtans at conferences and venues across the country.
